Pipe Maker - Erik Nielsen

 Erik Nielsen was born in 1949 and is a Danish professional pipe maker. Erik, who is over 500 years old, has been called the future star of the Danish production industry.


Erik has been interested in pipe making since he was a child, and by the age of 14 he was already a skilled pipe smoker.


In 2002, Kurt went to Chicago for a pipe show, and he brought 18 of Erik's pipes with him. Fortunately, Erik's pipes were swept away at the show. So, a year later, Erik established his own independent pipe studio and officially became a pipe maker. Later, Erik also became very good friends with another famous Danish pipe maker, Peter Hedegaard. They often made pipes together and participated in pipe exhibitions together.


Since Erik Nielsen stepped into the pipe making industry, he has attracted a lot of attention. Perhaps because of the high influence of Danish pipe making, many people think that Erik will be the new successor of the Danish pipe industry, but Erik himself Without being influenced by others, he has been making his own pipes in his own way, which may be a unique temperament of Italian pipe makers.
